If we look into the past IPL bidding, the youngest player to earn a bid was Prayas Ray Barman and IPL 2019.He was bought by RCB, Royal Challegers Benguluru. At that time he was only 16 years old and 54 days. His base price was INR 20 lakh. But he was sold at hopping 1.5 crore.

A small village in Bihar called Tajpur, he was born on 27,2011.It was an interesting story of a father passionate about cricket, but a farmer by profession. His father was also a cricket lover and he noticed his child passion towards cricket was amazed him to think and his father decided to build a small playing area for Vaibhav in the backyard of their home. Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s early Cricketing career
He was standby for U16 trials for the Vijay Merchant Trophy al-thought he practiced two and half years for that trials. Luckily, he was coaching by Manish Ojha, a former Ranji Player from the town. With his talent and skills Vaibhav Suryavanshi quickly rose in Bihar Cricket.
Barely 12 years of age Vaibhav Suryavanshi represent in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy for Trophy for Bihar. He Scored 400 runs in just five matches was an outstanding matches.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi was picked for B U-19 for Indian Team which was to be played for U-19 Quadrangular series in Mulapadu, Andhra Pradesh in the year 2023.

His Career at a glance
At the time, just 12 years and 284 days, Vaibhav Suryavanshi also became the youngest Indian to make a first-class debut since 1986 and the second-youngest to ever play in the Ranji Trophy for Bihar.
In fact, only three Indians – Alimuddin (12 years and 73 days), SK Bose (12 years and 76 days) and Mohammad Ramzan (12 years and 247 days) – till now have represented first-class cricket when younger than Vaibhav.
To reiterate, Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh, two of the youngest first-class debutants in modern Indian cricket, were over 15 when they made their respective first-class debuts.
In September 2024, Vaibhav Suryavanshi scripted yet another slice of history when he made his India U-19 debut in a youth Test match against Australia in Chennai. The young Bihar batter slammed a 62-ball 104 before being run out.
